Thought this to be a really nice park and looked forward to staying here for several weeks. Reserved in advance. Roads in the park are very narrow, cars and trucks parked at sites were partially blocking roads. Very very pricey. Paid $57 for a site 4 spaces from the waterfront, only to have 3 other MH's (which paid $65 and up) move in between us and the water. Blocked the entire view. The view was great when I had one. The white sandy man made beach was little but adequate. Heard noises each night (we stayed for two nights) sounded like someone trying to get into our basement compartments. Each time I went out there was no one there. Very annoying and aggravating as this kept going on for several hours. Finally decided to sit outside until I could figure out what it was. Did I mention the three airbases in the vicinity? War games, night maneuvers , etc etc. It seems as if jet fighters from one or maybe all of the airbases were in full combat mode. Canon fire and bombs were plentiful and noisy! No one mentioned this disturbance in their reviews. I asked the park staff about the night noises and they said it happens quite often. Because of the narrow roads, night noises and high prices I could only manage a 6 for this park. We might consider staying here again, maybe!

On their web page, this campground is rated by a reference to Good Sam (and others) so I made a false assumption that they were Good Sam, They are not! The campground is very easy to find and enter. Right off US 50/400. Has a really neat old west theme with old time western store fronts. Staff is friendly but really stress the campground rules (I kinda felt like a little kid being scolded). Our site (as well as the others) was gravel and pretty level. There was no view(zero, zip, nada), looked right into the side of a grassy hill. There were plenty of trees (no leaves, it's February). WIFI worked great and there were 68 cable tv stations to choose from. Lots of highway noise, trucks, etc. Railroad was right by the highway and the train noise was pretty loud. Even with the noise and lack of a view, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

When coming in from the west,Hwy 54/400, turn right on 119th st (if from the East turn left onto 119th st.), then an immediate left in front of the car dealership. After about 600 ft. turn right into the park. The park sign is not lit and is hidden behind a big billboard but we spotted it easy enough. The campground roads are gravel, although smooth. Our site had cement runners for a pad and was very level. Quick setup! No cable TV but the local stations come in so strong, all we needed was to hook up a piece of coax to our TV and "voila" we received 8 Digital channels and 17 Analog channels. I was amazed and still am! Did not use the Wi-Fi so cannot comment on it. We used our Sierra wireless air card. Even though the campground is only 300 ft. or so off busy Hwy 54/400, the road noise was negligible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wide spaces and a place to park your toad right next to you. We have family in the area and will definitely stay here next time we're in the area.

It has easy access from I-40, Exit 143 (west of OKC). It is nice big open campground with lots of trees. We had to share cable TV with site next to us (We were glad we had a 100ft cable or we wouldn't have had TV). Sites were pull through and all gravel and pretty much level. The staff was very friendly. We received the Good Sam rate. There was free coffee, muffins and newspaper in the morning. We looked forward to a nice hot shower. The shower rooms were very clean but the men's did not have any hot water and very little pressure. The wife said her water got warm after about 10 minutes but still had little pressure. There was a second building with showers and they worked fine. The park says they have WIFI but I haven't found it yet. We used our wireless 881 air card instead. We would probably stay here again if we were in the area.

It was a little confusing as to how to enter the park as there is no clearly marked entry (we went in the exit). The park is in a country setting with lots of trees. No sites have concrete pads (or gravel for that matter), they are all grass/dirt. Park staff was a crusty friendly middle aged man. He showed us our site and explained the rules. The office reeked of cigarette smoke (he was smoking while checking us in). There were lots of permanent campers and a few really junk motor homes dotted the scenery. When I made the reservation over the phone (while in Duson, LA) I was assured they were full service. I specifically asked if there was cable TV and they assured me they were "full hookup". There was no cable! My wife needed to do some laundry and found there was only one washer and one dryer working. The other washer and dryer was broken. The WIFI had an excellent signal (at least in site #1). We probably wouldn't stay here again.

Park is located in a woodsy setting, 3.5 miles east of Camping World (Strafford, MO) on the North Frontage road of I-44 (between exits 88 & 96). The lady who checked us in was very friendly. Roads into the park are very narrow as well as the sites. Barely got our 34ft Class A into our spot & really had to maneuver to get it out. Sewer hookups are really strange, they are slanted into the ground and almost makes it impossible to hookup your sewer hose (I never did get mine hooked up). No cable TV but you can pickup 6 analog channels and 6 digital channels with just your onboard interior cable wiring. Don't know if there was WIFI or not, we used our ATT wireless aircard and had exceptonal recepton. It was snowing when we arrived so couldn't tell exactly what our site is (concrete, gravel??) but it is pretty level. As I said, sites are small and they are very close together. Your neighbor's sewer hookup is almost at your front door. I-44 is about 200 feet south so we got some road noise. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

Nice Park!! Pronounced "O Clock Nee". The Park attendant, David, was very knowledgeable and nice. As in other reviews, the road in the campground is sand and very narrow. Our 34' Class A made it with no trouble, trees close on both sides. Our site, #24 was cement pad and very near the restrooms. Pad was plenty long and wide enough but negotiating the trees into the space took some time. My wife and I loved the trees and foliage. Restrooms were very clean (a little cool) and well maintained. We will return to this campground.

Frog City RV Park!! What a name for an RV park. We have been looking forward to staying here for a couple of weeks. Right off the I-10. I knew the park was at exit 92 but as we exited the I-10 there was another sign for Frog City that caught my attention and made me think I had exited too soon. But it was for another Frog City attraction, kinda confusing. Stick with exit 92. The staff was very friendly and gave me the Good Sam discount even though I couldn't find my Good Sam card. Their guide lead me right to my reserved space and showed me the hookups. No trees. The site was plenty big enough for my 34 ft motorhome, no cement pads but compacted gravel and rock. We asked the lady in the office about someplace to buy some supplies within walking distance and she told us of a C-store a couple of blocks away then proceeded to take us there in her own vehicle (we do not have a toad). Very much appreciated. Heard a train once or twice but not much noise from the interstate. Easy in, easy out. Very nice park and we will stay here again when we're in the area.

Palo Duro RV Park is just off I-27 in Canyon, TX., 17.5 miles south of Amarillo. When you check in, make sure you ask for the $5 off Internet special (tell them you saw it on their web site), they also give a Good Sam Discount. It cost us $20 total with tax. Each site is a pull through with 2 campers each (end to end). There are wide roads, long spaces but close together, lots of trees, NO TV but it is very satellite friendly. WIFI worked very well and is free. It looks as if there are several folks that are here on a "permanent" basis but their sites appear to be well kept. The park attendant was very friendly. Our site was only about 100 yards from I-27 so could hear traffic. Not bad but could tell there were folks traveling up and down the road. Be sure to visit Palo Duro Canyon while you are in the area. We would probably stay here again if we were in the area.

Had no problem finding the park with help from my Garmin GPS. Road into the park was a little rough (but understandable due to the area being flooded earlier this year). Pulled into the campground around 6:00 pm and setup in the dark. The moonlight on the Mississippi River was beautiful and we could hear the water flowing down the river. (Campsite was only 20 or 30 feet from the river). Saw many many Barges going up and down the river. Pretty nice. We really enjoyed ourselves. The view of Memphis at night was pretty awesome also.

The park is right beside the Interstate. When we pulled off the Interstate we drove right by the little Good Sam RV park sign and wound up on the north outskirts of the town. Finally got turned around and drove back into town and stopped at a gas station for directions to the park. The gas station employee pointed out the little (12" x 12") sign. Arriving finally at the park (in the dark) we setup at the site we were assigned (we thought) and were anxious to hookup and watch some TV. Only after everything was hooked up, did we realize we had setup on the wrong site, NO TV. Other than that the park employees were super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Had a blowout on the right front tire of our Motorhome while in route to Memphis. By the time it was changed (thanks to Good Sam ERS) we were forced to find the next available RV park. Whispering Pines was only a mile or two down the road and was a welcome sight. The lady that checked us in was very nice and guided us to our site. We hooked up the utilities and then found out that the water faucet had (at one time or another) frozen and split. We used our on board water supply that night. Left early the next morning and could not raise anyone at the office so left note concerning the water situation. Overall, we were pleased with the campground (except for the water).

We love Branson View! It's close to Branson but away from all the traffic congestion. The sites are gravel and/or cement and level. The park is on top of a mountain and has an excellent view of Branson (hence its name). All sites have picnic tables, and most have grills. The restrooms/showers are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Want to take in a show? The staff will have lots of suggestions. There are two excellent viewing decks that give you a spectacular view of Branson. Some of the sites could be a little hard to navigate due to the fact that the sites are tiered on the side of the mountain. All sites are pretty level. We are work campers at a nearby theme park and camp here year round. We checked out a lot of other parks and none came close to the Branson View.
